Inspector Notes
An unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted 7/13/2022 from 11:10am to 12:40pm. There were 112 (Infants to School-Age) directly supervised by 16 staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 6 children?s records, children's medications and medication authorization records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, circle time, summer activities. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Violations
4Evidence:
1) observed that there was peeling paint near the window sill in the 3s classroom.
2) observed peeling paint along the "beige" wall under the "name art" decorations in the SACC classroom.
Evidence: observed in the 4s classroom, and unlocked cabinet with hydrogen peroxide marked "keep out of reach of children".
Evidence: observed in the SACC room, hazardous substances stored above and next to food (i.e. crackers, chocolate sauce).
Evidence:
1) observed in the 4s classroom, sunscreen on a low shelf and accessible to children.
2) observed in the 4s classroom, sunscreen that was not labeled with the child's name.
