An unannounced Subsidy and Health Inspection was conducted with in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Four staff records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training and current certification in First Aid and CPR.

Based on a review of four staff records, not all of the staff members had completed the department's health and safety updated course. Evidence: Staff A, staff B, and staff C did not have documentation of completing the updated health and safety training (3 hour) course for 2023.
Plan of Correction: All staff will completed the updated heath and safety training for the upcoming year and the documentation will be maintained in their record.
