Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 05/20/2025 as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 1:15pm and ended at 3:30pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements. There were 106 children present and 16 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Areas and equipment of the center shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.

There was peeling paint on the bathroom door in the Pre-K room and on the windowsill ledge in the Discovery Preschool room and the outdoor composite play structure.
Plan of Correction: Work orders have already been placed. The director will follow-up with maintenance for a completion date.

Hazardous substances shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. There was a can of deodorizer in an unlocked cabinet in the Discovery Preschool room.
Plan of Correction: The cabinet was licked during the inspection.
