Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-780-280-B
Based on observations at the center on 08/17/2022, the center did not ensure to keep all hazardous substances such as cleaning materials in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence: 1) The licensing inspector observed bottles of cleaning solution in an unlocked cabinet in the Preschool classroom.
Plan of Correction: Corrected on site. Per management, all staff will be retrained to always lock cabinets that contain cleaning supplies and hazardous materials to prevent access by children. Staff will have daily checklists to ensure all cleaning materials are locked.
