Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 2/9/2023 at approximately 8:00am and concluded on 2/9/2023 and approximately 9:30am. There were a total of 9 children with 3 staff members present. Children were observed during drop off, ball play, circle time, and engaged in group activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, and confirmed by staff, the center was not maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition. Unsafe conditions included rusting of equipment and peeling paint.

Evidence: Rust and peeling paint was found on heating vent next to children's toilet.
Plan of Correction: Center will have heating unit repainted.
