Inspector Notes

A unannounced non-mandated monitoring focus inspection was initiated on November 21, 2023 from 9:20am - 10:50 am. There were 60 children with 10 staff present. The inspector focus reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming,
special care and emergencies and special services. The children were observed participation in station activities , circle time and bathroom breaks.

The outside area was being repaired during the inspection. The center was preparing for renovations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the licensee did not ensure the diapering surface shall be used only for diapering or cleaning children.

Evidence:
In the 2 year old classroom, there was coloring pages, tablet and supplies on the diapering surface.
