Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on June 1, 2021 and concluded on June 2, 2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection at 10:30 a.m. A virtual inspection was then conducted. There were 47 children present ages 4 months through 7 years old under the care and supervision of 13 staff. Infants were observed being held and sleeping. The toddlers, two year olds and preschoolers were observed during outdoor play. One school age child was observed having lunch. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed four children?s records and four staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Emergency drills were up to date.

The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
