Based on observation, the center did not ensure that hazardous substances such as cleaning materials were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: During the inspection on 6/2/22 the Licensing Inspector observed two disinfectant spray bottles on a high shelf over the sink in the four-year-old classroom.
Plan of Correction: The spray bottles were moved to a locking cabinet during the inspection.
Standard 8VAC20-780-430-H

Plan of Correction: We will remove this today.
Standard 8VAC20-780-440-B
Based on observation and interview, the center did not ensure that cribs were identified for use by a specific child. Evidence: During the inspection on 6/2/22, there were five infants in care in the Infant Class. There were only four cribs in the Infant Class. Interview revealed that the infants share cribs with the sheets changed in between.
Plan of Correction: We have more cribs in storage. We will have another put together and added to the classroom by Monday, 6/6/22.
