During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site code compliance inspection was initiated and completed on September 2, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 11:05am and ended at 12:15pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 61 children present with 12 staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and four staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable code sections, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The child day center to obtain a copy of the results of a search of the child abuse and neglect registry or equivalent registry from any state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years.

Staff Member D's sworn disclosure statement documented that the staff member has resided in Maryland within the past five years. The center did not have completed MD central registry results for Staff Member D. Staff Member D had been employed for over 60 days.
Plan of Correction: Warrenton Baptist Tiny Tots has identified the background check needing to be notarized in order for it to be processed in MD. The check has been resubmitted, and Tiny Tots is awaiting the return of the check. When the results are returned, documentation will be added to the staff file.
