Inspector Notes
An unannounced health and safety inspection was conducted Monday November 7, 2022 and concluded on Wednesday November 9, 2022. The center's director was available to answer questions throughout the inspection. The census for today's inspection consisted of 14 children in care and 3 staff supervising. During the tour, the inspector observed the children, playing with age appropriate material, and playing on the playground. The inspector observed the inside play area, playground, kitchen, and restrooms. The center's first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. The required postings were inspected and found to be in compliance. Liability insurance, health inspection, and drills were all in compliance. There were three children's and three staff records reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
