Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 05/31/2023 from 11:30am to 12:55pm. There were 43 children ages 3 months to age 5 years old supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, outdoor playground area, programming, attendance, menus, 3 staff records, 3 children?s records, 1 medication with corresponding authorization records, emergency drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed. Children were observed participating in nap, table toys, reading and lunch. Handwashing procedures were also observed. There was an adequate number of staff present with current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT), CPR and First Aid, and Daily Health Observation (DHO) training. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

2Evidence: In the Toddler classroom, the diapering pad was torn at the corner causing the surface to not be non-absorbent as required.
Evidence: During inspection in the Twos classroom, there were 10 children present, but the written record reflected there were 9 children present.
