A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Staff who work directly with children shall annually attend at least 16 hours of training and staff development activitites, to include the department's health and safety update course.

Only one staff person currently employed at the center completed the department's health and safety udpate course for 2024.
Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: This was a mistake in understanding which year's annual update training was being completed by staff. Going foward, center management will ensure staff complete the current year's health and safety update course. The current year's course will be completed by each staff before the end of each year.
