During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above, to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes
An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on August 4,, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 10am and ended at 11:45am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 32 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The license and any other documents required by the Superintendent shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises. The most recent violation notice and inspection summary from January 13, 2025, was not posted.
Plan of Correction: The plan of correction: The center will ensure that the most recent inspection and violation notice is posted.
Standard 8VAC20-780-280-D
Cleaning and sanitizing materials shall not be located above food, food equipment, utensils or single-service articles and shall be stored in areas physically separate from food. A bottle of disinfectant spray was beside food being served to children during lunch.
Plan of Correction: The plan of correction: The center will ensure that cleaning products will be kept separate from food and locked away from children's access.
Standard 8VAC20-780-330-B
Where playground equipment is provided, resilient surfacing shall comply with minimum safety standards and shall be under equipment with moving parts or climbing apparatus to create a fall zone free of hazardous obstacles. The outdoor playground?s mulch was measuring approximately 2 to 3 inches in depth and the plastic lining under the mulch was exposed.
Plan of Correction: The plan of correction: Mulch is currently in ordered and will be delivered. The appropriate amount and dept of mulch will be placed on the playground.
