Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today at 10:15am. There were 29 children directly supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play and structured activities. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review, daily simple health screening and exclusion of sick children was not conducted by a person trained to perform such screenings.
Evidence:
On the date of inspection no staff records contained documentation that they have been trained to perform such screenings.
Plan of Correction: All required training will be completed prior to the start of the fall session.
