Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director on September 22, 2022 beginning at 8:56 AM and ending at 10:41 1M. There were 35 children, ages 6 months through 5 years, in the care of 7 staff members. The children were observed playing with manipulatives and toys, being read a book, and doing circle time. Six children?s records and four staff records were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were reviewed and in compliance. One medication was reviewed and determined to be in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 9/1/2022. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 7/12/2022. The most recent health inspection was dated 1/31/2022. The most recent fire inspection was dated 9/1/2022.

Based on observation, the facility did not ensure that all the prepared infant formula was refrigerated, dated and labeled with the child's name. Evidence: The refrigerator in the infant room had four bottles that were not dated.
Plan of Correction: The director stated that she would have the staff check the bottles that parents bring in and label them with name or date if it is missing.
