Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A code compliance inspection was initiated on March 23, 2021 and concluded on March 23, 2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 89 children present and 21 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed two staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable code sections and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

3. The record for Staff #3 (hire date 08/20/2020) contained the central registry findings dated 01/19/2021 and a sworn statement dated 01/05/2021.
4. The record for Staff #4 (hire date 08/20/2020) contained the central registry findings dated 11/02/2020 and a sworn statement dated 09/21/2020.
5. The record for Staff #5 (hire date 10/27/2020) contained a request for a central registry findings dated 03/23/2021 and a sworn statement dated 01/08/2021.
6. A member of management confirmed the information during the remote inspection.
7. Central registry findings are required to be requested within the first seven days of employment and results are required to be obtained with the first 30 days of employment. Sworn statements are required to be obtained prior to the first day of employment.
