Inspector Notes
A renewal inspection was initiated on May 12, 2022 and concluded on May 12, 2022. There were 130 children present, ranging in ages from pre-toddlers to six years, with 26 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and three staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
3Evidence:
1. Room #1, room #2, and room #11 had hazardous chemicals such as Clorox and Lysol wipes, containers of disinfecting sprays and aerosol room deodorant sprays labeled ?Keep Out of Reach of Children? and ?Caution? in unlocked cabinets accessible to children.
Evidence:
One medication, Auvi Q was observed without the prescription label, child?s name, the dosage amount, and the time or times to be given. The medication is for a documented allergy with written authorization from the parent and the child?s doctor.
Evidence:
In room #2, a bottle of over-the-counter pain reliever was observed in an unlocked cabinet.
