During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 10/28/2024 in response to a self-report received by the licensing office on 09/26/2024 relating to forbidden actions. The inspector reviewed one children?s records and one staff record on-site.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. The following acts are forbidden: physical punishment, striking a child, roughly handling or shaking a child, restricting movement through binding or tying, forcing a child to assume an uncomfortable position, or exercise as punishment.
It was reported through interviews that on 09/25/2024, Staff A lifted Child A (age 4) off the ground by one arm and carried them across the room and roughly placed them onto the ground.
Plan of Correction: Teacher is no longer employed with KinderCare. All staff retrained on appropriate child guidance on 09/27/2024.
