Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews, and a virtual tour of the program.

A renewal inspection was initiated on 10/21/2021 and concluded on 10/22/2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 57 children present, ranging in ages from 6 months to 4 years, with 10 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staff qualifications and training, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care provisions and emergencies and special services. A total of 4 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, 1 of 4 children's records did not contain all required information.

Evidence:
1. The record for Child #1 did not contain a phone number for one of two designated people to call in an emergency if a parent cannot be reached.
2. The same phone number was listed for both designated people to call in an emergency.
Plan of Correction: I will request an additional phone number for the emergency contact person.
